Announcing MongoDB 2.6
MongoDB makes building applications natural and intuitive -- and MMS makes it just as natural to run these apps, too. With MongoDB 2.6, we have improved scalability of several critical areas of the database and made changes to the core to support improved concurrency in future versions. With MMS 1.4, we made managing and scaling MongoDB easier than ever and added a new Automation service which is in alpha testing with select users.

MongoDB Management Service (MMS) is an application for managing MongoDB clusters using a simple yet sophisticated user interface. MMS makes it easy to run MongoDB at scale, providing backup and monitoring, as well as automation (in testing with select users) for provisioning, upgrading and managing clusters. MMS is available to all users in the cloud and on-premise as part of MongoDB Standard and Enterprise Subscriptions.
