Oracle today announced the release of Oracle
Communications WebRTC Session Controller 7.1, which brings WebRTC support
to native mobile iOS and Android applications for a seamless, cross-device
customer experience.
The new release also improves bandwidth utilization and cost
savings by intelligently switching among anchored media, peer-2-peer (P2P)
media, and P2P data depending on the CSP’s or enterprise’s network topology.
Oracle Communications WebRTC Session Controller provides
better connectivity into CSP and enterprise environments with restrictive
firewalls by supporting advanced Network Address Translation traversal
functionality.
In addition, the new release enables secure and reliable RTC
services by delivering GSMA’s
Rich Communications Suite (RCS) capabilities through Oracle Communications
WebRTC Session Controller APIs. This functionality allows CSPs to extend their
