Training Thursdays: Oracle Linux is Recommended for Oracle Products

Oracle Linux is the only linux distribution recommended for Oracle products. Oracle Linux is:

• Used by Oracle's engineered systems
• Linux development standard at Oracle
• Comprehensively tested across the Oracle stack
• Pre-configured in Oracle VM templates for rapid deployment of Oracle applications

For those using an earlier version, adopt Oracle Linux 7 by taking the Oracle Linux 7: What's New for Administrators course. You can take this course in one of the following formats:

• Live-Virtual Event: Attend a live event from your own desk, no travel required. Events are added to the schedule to suit different time-zones. Events on the schedule include 31 May, 5 July, 6 September, 8 November and 29 November 2017 in English.
• In-Class Events: Travel to an education center to take this course. In-class events on the schedule include Milan, Italy on 18 April 2017 and Turin, Italy on 12 June 2017 in Italian.
