As we approach June, we have many fantastic events for you to attend! Including our two Community Application Innovation Days -  UKOUG HCM Community Applications Innovation Day on 4th June at Oracle City Office, London UKOUG ERP Community Applications Innovation Day on 30th June at Paddington, ETC Venues. Cloud seems to be everywhere at the moment and whether you have already made the switch or be thinking about it you may be wondering what it all really means, UKOUG can show you with our two Community Applications Innovation Days both. JDE15 - We have listened to your demands and have decided to give you a little more time to submit your abstracts! Submit your 2000 character abstract for #ukoug_jde15 by midnight (BST) tonight! Check out the Call for Papers page for hints and tips on how to get your name onto the agenda. UKOUG HCM SIG Committee Elections ·         1 x Deputy Chair position The UKOUG HCM Committee are looking for their next Deputy Chair so if you or a colleague would like to volunteer for the above position, please submit a manifesto by 9am on 9th June. Please note – You are required to be a UKOUG member to be a UKOUG Volunteer. If you would like further details on what the role of a Committee member involves, please email marisa@ukoug.org Once the submissions have been collated following the 9th June, the voting will open to the engaged HCM SIG attendees and you will be contacted confirming whether you have been successful after voting closes on the 23rd June. This weeks highlights... The UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards 2015/16 ceremony will take place on 15th October at the Waldorf Hilton, London, make sure you are there to celebrate. PYA entries are now open until 1st June - Take advantage of this extension and maximise your chances of winning by entering all the categories relevant to your business. Take a look at the OUG Scotland 2015, which features 36 sessions across 6 streams covering Apex, Applications, Business Analytics, Cloud, Database and Development. Register now to be at this fantastic event. Taking place on 10th June at Oracle Linlithgow, this is the ideal event for all Scotland based Oracle users.
