Find out what Forbes contributor
Louis Columbus has to say about new research from IDC.
Big data’s great potential
has been touted for years. For many organizations, however, the challenge
to making their big data vision a reality is that their ability to collect
data has gotten far ahead of their ability to use it. Oracle Big Data SQL
can help bridge that gap.
Nucleus found that
customers running business intelligence and performance management
solutions on Oracle Exalytics were able to take advantage of optimized
hardware, analytics software, and in-memory database technology
consolidated in a single machine to accelerate time to value and increase
analytics performance at a fraction of the cost of traditional approaches.
As NoSQL technology
evolves, Oracle NoSQL Database 3.0 adds features and gets more involved in
big data strategies and deployments. Read this interview with Oracle’s Dave
Segleau and find out more. Interested in more content from Oracle Magazine? Get a
