Oracle ACE Spotlight Kamran Agayev A Oracle ACE Director Kamran Agayev A. has been working with Oracle for over 10 years. He is a Clusterware and RAC Certified Expert, Certified Professional (9i,10g,11g) and Certified Master working as a DBA Team Head at AzerCell Telecom. Having desktop, web and handheld programming experience for years, he decided to work with database management system and become an Oracle DBA. Being the only ACE Director from Azerbaijan, he founded the Azerbaijan Oracle User Group (AzerOUG) back in 2012 and has been organizing different local meetups every year. In 2016, AzerOUG successfully hosted the OTN EMEA Tour in Baku. Having a deep knowledge about Oracle backup and recovery, Kamran authored a book "Oracle Backup and Recovery: Expert secrets for using RMAN and Data Pump" where he discussed different database backup and recovery techniques. After successfully passing the Oracle Certified Master (OCM) exam, he decided to prepare a study guide and share his preparation tips for the OCM exam and authored his second book "Oracle Certified Master 11g Study Guide." This book is an ultimate study guide for the hardest exam in Oracle with 200+ practical scenarios, step by step instructions, and 300+ tasks that are assigned to the readers. Kamran also trains Jiu Jitsu competes in different tournaments around the world when he travels to present at conferences. ACE Program Review App Update We have received a great deal of suggestions for changing the new ACE Program review guidelines, and we already incorporating several of your ideas. One new change we want to announce is that points for presentations will now be given per presentation and not per event. So going forward, please create a separate entry for each presentation that you give in the community.
